My story ~ deep grief at the beak down of my marriage
My name’s Soli Goodes, I am a 42 year old woman from Kaurna Nation, Adelaide South Australia.
Going through the most painful time in my life, the break down of my relationship of 27 years with my former husband.
We bet what was the Ngadjuri Nation freedom farm on humanity, I lost. Toby won. And I didn’t ever see this coming. I thought we were a team #TeamHumanity

If you want to live without a system, go into the forest and fend for yourself without any of the luxuries that you would have if you were going by the system’s rules. No phone, no easily accessible water, no grocery stores, no Toby doing absolutely everything for you and no farm (as the farm has all of those luxuries).

We pay back what we borrow, that’s how it works in every aspect of life. If you didn’t want to have to pay back what you borrowed to buy the farm then you should not have borrowed it and just lived where you were originally or somewhere you could afford to pay outright.

Toby didn’t win. He has to deal with all thethat left behind. The only way Toby could win is if you packed up your belongings and moved to NSW to be with the guy you fell in love with while being married to Toby (I might add that you liked to rub that in Toby’s face) and left Toby and Kye alone.

They don’t have the energy to deal with youranymore Soli - they have enough to deal with cleaning up the mess you made. No more constant abuse, no more making them feel likeand like they aren’t worthy of your presence.

The reality is that Toby supported you through absolutely everything, he fed you, he cleaned for you, provided for you. He did absolutely everything and still supported you through all your beliefs even at the cost of his friends and family, he just didn’t support you loving another man (no person would). Toby and yourself always agreed through the entire relationship that as soon as someone cheated, they get nothing. You get nothing because you fell in love with someone else, that’s cheating.

Everyone tried to help you but you couldn’t give aabout that. You need to get help and do it on your own now because your real family and friends has given you so many chances and tried again and again but you just shat on

Let ‘your’ people know who you really are and how you make the people you are meant to love feel. You’ve burned all your bridges. You have no one left (other than the people that claim to be your friends but are never there when you need it). You make everyone feelabout themselves and they don’t want to be around you.

You are all about wanting people to wake up but you need to wake up to yourself. Not everyone is going to agree with you, get that through your head. People can still support you but may not agree in your beliefs and you have to understand/respect that - it doesn’t give you any right to abuse people for it.
